What this actually is. And why it works.

Every Awen Aboros candle is hand-poured by old-fashioned techniques — in small batches, with full attention from start to finish. Clean-burning soy wax. Natural scents. Raw gemstones selected by hand. No shortcuts. No outsourcing. No exceptions. The only true active ingredient in any of these products is you. Your intention with your candle gives you back the results of your intention.

The Name

"Awen" is a Celtic word for creative inspiration — the spark that moves through creating. "Aboros" is drawn from Ouroboros, the ancient symbol of the continuous cycle. Together, they become the inspiration that keeps returning, and the making that keeps going.

It's a name about craft. About the loop of making something, finishing it, and starting again.

How It Started

In 2022, I started making candles. Not as a business — as something to do with my hands during a period when I needed to make something real.

I remembered a candle I had burned for twelve years — a red, three-wick candle I first lit at sixteen. That memory led me back to the craft. I made a green, three-wick candle. Then another. Then another.

The process itself was the point: the measuring, the pouring, the patience of it. Making something by hand, slowly, with full attention — that turned out to be exactly what I needed. And somewhere in that process, I realized I wasn't the only one who needed it.

In 2023, Awen Aboros became a business.

The Candle

Every candle is made with 100% soy wax — clean-burning, renewable, no synthetic additives. The scents are natural. The gemstones are raw and genuine, selected by hand for each pour.

The stone sits in or atop the wax through the entire burn. When the candle is finished, the stone is yours — warmed, solid, real. A natural object that came through the process with you.

The Maker

My name is Uriel. I am the founder, the maker, and the one person behind every candle you will ever receive from this company.

Every candle that you receive was made by full attention, and repeatably consistent practices — because that is the only way I know how to make something worth buying.
